The Mother of all Changes.
Maytresence will happen every May, but our work will continue all year round. It will always be a priority to fundraise for charities providing vital services and support during matrescence today; but we also want to build for tomorrow. Read more about our 3 areas of impact below.
By May 2027, we have set a goal of establishing ‘The Maytrescence Foundation’. This will be how we actively drive progress in our ambition to embed matrescence into every journey into motherhood. Ante-natal classes, maternity appointments, free parent resources and everyday conversation.

A month where ‘the village’ shows up, raising awareness and money for organisations supporting mothers, birthing parents and families.
Fund support now through our 6 chosen charities and build for the future and support the set-up of The Maytrescence Foundation with every donation.

We want to make matrescence something every parent and every brand across parenthood understands and talks about.
Integrating the word and concept of matrescence into mainstream conversation won’t happen on it’s own and it’s not someone else’s job. It’s everyone’s job, including you, including us.
We’ll share small changes that we can commit to as individuals and as a village during Maytrescence; new conversations and habits that can last a lifetime and benefit the generation of parents coming behind us.

By May 2027 we aim to have set up The Maytrescence Foundation, to drive long-term, systemic change.
It will also become the vehicle for investing in grassroots organisations offering vital support to mothers, birthing parents and those around them.
10% from every donation will be invested in the start up of The Maytrescence Foundation.
